Tube Acoustics is a division of Crossover
Drives, Inc. and is located in Knoxville, Tennessee. Crossover Drives, Inc. has
been supplying marine products to the boat industry since 1990. We have 17,000
square feet of manufacturing space and a team of 30+ people.
The idea of building speakers came from our personal interest in analyzing the
principles of sound in enclosures (really, we enjoy this stuff) and from
listening to a boat dealer complain about the embarrassment of selling a $50,000
boat with an "ABC" (attractive but crappy) sound system. In the fall of 2003, we
began building and testing some of our designs. The results have been
astonishing.
Our team has since grown to include engineers, designers, and even some folks
that know nothing about sound (they just like to run a business). We are
proud of the quality and craftsmanship that goes into every Tube Acoustics
product. Each component is designed and matched for specific results in a
specific environment. They are built from
premium materials, assembled by hand, tested, retested, and then guaranteed.
